GHANA TO SEEK TO EXPLOT CAMEROON’S WEAKNESSES IN AFCON SE-SIMIFINALS

Black Stars winger Christian Atsu says Ghana will seek to exploit the weaknesses in the Cameroon team to overcome them in their 2017 African Cup of Nations (AFCON 2017) semi-final match Thursday in Franceville, Gabon.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) here Monday, Atsu said also the team had yet to analyze their opponents, he was confident there would be several weaknesses in the Cameroon team which Ghana could exploit.

“The weaknesses are what we will seek to exploit to overcome them; I know my colleagues are capable of standing up to the task and will put in their best for us to progress,” he said.

“It is not going to be an easy task because the Cameroonians are very tough with a lot of experience in the competition, but we are determined to go past them.”

Atsu has been very instrumental in the progress of the team since the competition started.

He won the Man of the Match award in the first game and has since been a key figure to the team.

He created the vital penalty which enabled Ghana to score winner in the 2-1 victory over the Democratic Republic of Congo in the quarter-finals on Sunday.
