King Promise bemoaned the skyrocketing prices of goods and services, claiming that Ghana is now one of the most expensive places to live.
He spoke on the Accra-based Okay FM, which was monitored by this portal, about his difficulties in the current situation. He said he buys items for GHS12,000 to GHS14,000 but has significantly increased to GHS24,000 in a spate of six months.
“Ghana is expensive, no one can lie, like things I use to pay for like maybe 12,000; 13, 000 and 14,000 now is like 24,000. It doesn’t make any sense in less than six months,” the ‘Ginger’ hitmaker bemoaned.
