Ghana has slipped two places to 45th position in the latest world ranking list released by the Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA), for the month of October.
The Black Stars’ drop came following the 0-0 draw with Uganda at Tamale Stadium in Northern Region (Province) in their African group qualifying match for the 2018 FIFA World Cup as well as an international friendly with South Africa, which ended 1-1 in Durban.
Ghana, had 628 points to lie behind Cote D’Ivoire, Senegal, Algeria and Tunisia among African nations, which are placed 31st, 37th, 35th and 38th respectively.
The two 10 nations are equally split between Europe and South America with Argentina still in top spot with 1,621 points while Germany and Brazil moved to second and third positions respectively.
The other countries in the top 10 are Belgium, Colombia, Chile, France, Portugal, Uruguay and Spain.
