Ghana forward Andre Ayew put in a good shift on Tuesday afternoon to help Al-Sadd SC to defeat Wiener Viktoria 7-0.
The Qatari giants are currently on a pre-season tour to prepare for the 2022/23 football season where they will be aiming to defend the league title.
In a friendly match against Wiener Viktoria today, Andre Ayew was named in the Al-Sadd SC starting eleven to play in the attack.
With the Austrian side proving to be no match for the Ghana forward and his teammates, the side has been served with a humiliating defeat.
During the match, Andre Ayew found the back of the net for his team in the 30th minute with a fine strike.
Thanks to a hat-trick from Rodrigo Tabata plus a brace from prolific strike Baghdad Bounedjah, Al-Sadd SC run riot to record a heavy 7-0 win at the end of the friendly exercise.
Andre Ayew and his teammates are expected to play a couple of high-profile friendly matches in the coming weeks as part of preparations for the upcoming football season.
