Genser Energy Ghana cautions public of fake recruitment

Accra� Genser Energy Ghana, a private supplier of power to mining companies, on Thursday called on the public to discard the alleged recruitment exercise that was going on in its name, saying, it is a fraudulent activity.

They have therefore cautioned the general public to be wary of it as they were not recruiting staff as it is being portrayed by the scammers.

Lawyer Onesimos Osei Barima, Legal and Compliance Manager, made these known in a statement signed and copied to the Ghana News Agency, in Accra.

Genser Energy Ghana Limited wishes to notify the general public that it has become aware of a fake recruitment scheme perpetuated by unknown individuals seeking to offer jobs to unsuspecting individuals, it added.

The statement explained that the fraudsters offer lucrative remunerations written in a forged company letterhead purporting to come from Genser offering job opportunities from Chief Finance Officers, Procurement Managers, Plant Managers, and Human Resources Managers among other offers.

Genser therefore states we have not contracted any agency to recruit for and on behalf of the company.

It said Genser would officially notify the public of any job openings directly through its website at

The statement said the company was working with the Ghana Police Service with all the necessary information to effect arrest.
