The Russian government is being criticized in Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey’s statement that Ghana will not recognize Ukraine territory that Russia has occupied forcibly. The attack by the minister is unwarranted since Ghana has no business interfering with the affairs of other foreign nations. Politics on a global scale cannot allow this hypocrisy.
Ghana is still an underdeveloped country that relies on foreign aid, so why criticize a government that Ghana is unable to overthrow in any way? More crucially, except for Kwame Nkrumah, no Ghanaian leader or politician has been able to criticize the United States government for blatantly violating and abusing human rights, particularly in Africa.
We will not allow hypocrisy to dominate global politics either because it is one of the main issues that has turned this world upside down. War, political turmoil, and crime can never be accepted by any rational administration in this world. Despite being the most violent country on the African continent, many people find it difficult to criticize the US administration. Why is this going on?
