Dream FC wallop Great Olympics 5-2 after exciting battle at Dawu

An impressive Dreams FC performance on Sunday afternoon saw the team run riot over Great Olympics to record a 5-2 win.

The team based in Dawu today hosted Olympics at the Theatre of Dreams to honour a date on matchday 21 of the ongoing 2021/22 Ghana Premier League season.

Following a bright start to the contest, the host took the lead through Sylvester Simba in the first minute after catching the visitors off guard.

Just four minutes later, Dreams FC equalized again, this time around it was youngster Issah Ibrahim who found the back of the net.

In a game that had to be halted at a point due to heavy rains, Great Olympics managed to pull one back in the 26th minute courtesy of a penalty kick converted by Daniel Adjetey.

After the restart, Dreams FC outplayed the visitors and added three goals. Lethal striker Agyenim Boateng, as well as Clement Boahen and Colins Boah all scored to propel the home team to secure a 5-2 win at the end of the pulsating encounter.

The huge win has lifted Dreams FC to 9th on the Ghana Premier League table. Meanwhile, Great Olympics remain in the top four despite today’s hammering.
