Adjei's career began with CEPS in 1993, and she served in multiple locations, including Shai-Ho, Tema, Kotoka International Airport, Kumasi, Headquarters, and Accra (James Town) collection sectors.
She has held several key roles, such as President of the Ladies Club Tema Collection from 2012 to 2015 and was a pioneer in transitioning from Ghana Community Network Services Limited (GCNet) to the Integrated Customs Management System (ICUM), as well as implementing the Customs Technical Service Bureau.
In her retirement, she assured her successor, Assistant Commissioner Theresa Potakey, of her support in continuing to increase the sector's collection.
