The suspect arrested for stealing the iPhone 14 Pro Max belonging to American rapper Meek Mill has been arraigned before court today, Wednesday, January 4.
The suspect Nuhu Sule alias Ababaawa was arrested Friday, December 30, 2022, at his hideout in Accra after investigations by the police.
In court today, the suspect pleaded not guilty to the charge of stealing the mobile phone that is valued GHS22,000.
While his lawyers will apply for bail for him, it was strongly opposed by the prosecution.
Eventually, at the end of the hearing today, the Circuit Court (9) in Accra presided over by His Honour Mr. Samuel Bright Aquah remanded Nuhu Sule into police custody.
Meanwhile, the court after remanding the accused directed the prosecution to file disclosures.
The case has been adjourned to January 17.
