Accra- Bishop Dr Stephen Owusu Jackson, Chairman of the Christian Praise International Centre has called on Ghanaians to support the government’s vision of building national cathedral because it forms part of the infrastructural development of the nation.
He noted that it was befitting to have a national infrastructure to honour God who for providing all the resources for national development.
Bishop Jackson, made the call at the 15th anniversary celebration of the church at Pig Farm in Accra on the theme ‘I will Build my Church and the Gate of Hell Shall Not Prevail Against It’.
Bishop Jackson said the church established in 2003 was able to open branches in the Volta, Upper West, Italy and the United States and had also established a school at Ningo in the Greater Accra Region to complement government’s efforts of providing quality education for all Ghanaians.
The Chairman said the church adopted the Dormaa Ahenkro Presbyterian Hospital in the Brong Ahafo Region in honour of the Professor Bishop Annor-Yeboah, Founder of the church and commended the government for introducing the Nations Builders Corp (NaBco), saying it would help to solve the country’s unemployment situation.
The church earlier on undertook a three-hour health walk, which started at the premises of the church at Pig Farm, to Dzorwulu through some principal streets of the capital, ended at the starting point as part of the celebration of the anniversary.
