CAF Technical and Development Committee holds primary conference in Cairo

Accra, The newly constituted Confederation of African Football (CAF), Technical and Development Committee has held its first summit on Tuesday, at the CAF Headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.

The seventeen-member committee in its deliberation, analysed and evaluated the principal aspects of training, administration and the technical development of football in Africa.

The recommendations were the outcome of the CAF Symposium held in Rabat, Morocco last July, which included redefining the role and task of Technical Directors, reviewing the content and organization of the Coaching Licensing System and review of CAF Instructors amongst others.

The newly formed Committee had the task of also reviewing partnerships with FIFA and other Confederations such as UEFA and AFC.
