Bibiani Anhwiaso Bekwai Assembly supports community
Kwamekrom (WN/R)- Mr Sahib M. Abdul Rahman, Municipal Co-ordinating Director (MCD) for the Bibiani- Anhwiaso- Bekwai Municipal Assembly (BABMA), has said the Assembly is committed to ensure equitable distribution of local and national resources towards the development of all communities under its jurisdiction.
He called on the various communities in the municipality, to identify their priority areas for development and rally behind the Assembly, to mobilise the needed resources to meet their needs.
Mr Rahman said this at the commissioning of a 20-seater modern Toilet facility for the people of Kwamekrom, near Bibiani in the Western North Region.
He said Kwamekrom was strategically located in the municipality, and thus urged the people to take good care of the facility and other amenities provided them, to improve upon their lots.
A ten thousand gallons – water reservoir, to be powered by solar energy, is nearing completion, to solve the community’s water problems.
Nana Kwasi Nipa, Odikro of the town who chaired the function, thanked the Assembly and the government for having the growth and development of the area at heart and pledged to put the toilet and other facilities provided them to good use.
