Ghana striker, Benjamin Tetteh has been ruled out of action for several weeks due to a hamstring injury according to reports.

The former Dreams FC forward picked up a hamstring injury over the weekend.

The 25-year-old suffered a hamstring injury after stretching for the ball in the first half of Hull City’s 2-0 defeat to Sheffield United at the MKM Stadium.

He was subsequently replaced by Ryan Longman having lasted just 14 minutes.

The former Yeni Malatayspor attacker will be spending four to six weeks in the treatment room.

However, he is expected to miss Ghana’s friendly games this month after being named in Black Stars squad for the two games against Brazil and Nicaragua.

He is yet to score for Hull City after eight appearances with two assists to his credit.

Ghana will play Brazil on Friday, September 23, at Stade Oceane in Le Harve- France before taking on Nicaragua at Estadio Francisco Artes Carrasco in Lorca, Spain on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
