Ayawaso East Constituents recognises MP’s hard work with Award

Accra, Alhaji Mahama Naser Toure, Member of Parliament (MP) for Ayawaso East, has been awarded by his constituents at Nima in the Greater Accra Region.

The award was in recognition for his exemplary and sterling leadership and dedication to service.

The constituents also recognized the massive infrastructural development that took place in the constituency over the last few years during his tenure in office as MP for the area.

At a ceremony organized by the Vibrant Ladies, a Pro NDC Youth Group based in Accra, to outdoor their activities towards the Party’s agenda 2020 to recapture power, Alhaji Yahaya Yaw Kundo, Greater Accra Regional Treasurer of the Party advised Party faithful to remain united as the Party reorganizes.

He described Alhaji Toure as one of the best MPs the Party Regional secretariat was proud of, adding that, If we have had candidates like Naser in the last elections, the Party would have won hands down.

Alhaji Williams Olabode, Ayawaso East Constituency Chairman, reaffirmed the constituency executive’s commitment to supporting the MP in the upcoming Parliamentary primaries.

He said: What Naser has done for this constituency over the years, we as constituency executives want to place on record that we are going to support him in the coming elections to ensure that he continues with his good work.

Mr Faisal Raymond Sawala, the Founder of the Group, said the group was formed purposely to champion the course of the MP and the Party in the constituency and beyond.

He said members of the Group were gearing up towards winning the hearts of members of other political parties and floating voters who were already disappointed with the ruling New Patriotic Party Government’s performance.

Alhaji Naser Toure thanked the Group for the gesture showed him and promised to work harder for the good of the constituents.

He announced that his office would begin a massive installation of street lamps in the constituency where there were none and also replaces the old ones.
