Ketu North Assembly Holds Emergency Meeting to Approve 2026 Development Frameworks


Ketu north: Rev. Martin Amenaki, the Municipal Chief Executive for Ketu North, has convened an emergency meeting of the Assembly to deliberate on governance and development matters affecting the municipality. The meeting, held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, included Assembly Members, Heads of Departments, and members of the Municipal Security Council (MUSEC) to review and approve working documents for the 2026 fiscal year.



According to Ghana News Agency, the documents under review included the Draft Annual Action Plan, Composite Budget, Fee-Fixing Resolution, Ceded Revenue Items to Zonal Councils, and the Revenue Improvement Action Plan. Rev. Amenaki highlighted the importance of these documents as they form the foundation for the Assembly’s development agenda, providing a roadmap to guide decision-making, budgeting, and implementation processes.



Rev. Amenaki stated that the approval of these documents shows the Assembly’s commitment to ensuring that local development initiatives meet the needs and aspirations of the people. He reaffirmed the municipality’s dedication to transparency, accountability, and teamwork, noting that the deliberations reflected a shared determination to strengthen local governance, enhance revenue mobilization, and promote equitable development across Ketu North.
