Ghana head coach, Milovan Rajevac will have a full squad in the camp of the Black Stars after this weekend to prepare for the 2021 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
The Black Stars have been in camp in Doha, Qatar, since last week trying to get into the best shape for the upcoming continental showpiece.
Unfortunately, due to FIFA and CAF’s decision to allow clubs to extend the arrival date for players in Europe, some of Ghana’s players especially those in England are yet to report to camp.
Fortunately, the deadline will expire at the end of this weekend, meaning that the likes of Thomas Partey, Daniel Amartey, Jordan Ayew, Andy Yiadom, Baba Abdul Rahman, and Joseph Wollacott will travel to Doha to join other teammates in the camp of the Black Stars.
Once that happens, Coach Milovan Rajevac will have a full squad in camp with the exclusion of Mohammed Kudus and Felix Afena-Gyan who are both a doubt for the 2021 AFCON.
Ghana will have the chance to play at least two friendly matches in Qatar before travelling to Cameroon on January 7 for the start of the 2021 AFCON two days later.
