Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu keen on maintaining current league form

Hearts of Oak head coach, Samuel Boadu has set his sight on continuing his team’s run of impressive form to stand a good chance of winning the league title at the end of the season.

The club in the last seven matches in the Ghana Premier League has remained unbeaten, winning six and drawing the other game.

Following a crucial 2-0 win against Medeama SC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday night, Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu is booming with a lot of confidence.

According to the gaffer, his side wants to take one step at a time but is optimistic about defeating Legon Cities FC in their next league encounter.

“As I said earlier, Hearts of Oak is playing match after match. Now we have finished with this [Medeama] match. It’s history, we have to throw it back,” coach Samuel Boadu said in his post-match.

The former Medeama SC gaffer continued, “We have to concentrate on the next match we are going to play and we take match after match and we believe that definitely, we are going to take that three maximum points as well.”

Hearts of Oak’s next match against Legon Cities FC will be played on Wednesday, June 23, 2021.
