Abdul Baba Abdul Rahman has started pre-season with Chelsea ahead of the new 2021/22 campaign.
The Ghana international who joined the Premier League side in 2015 has struggled for game time and has been loaned to a number of clubs.
The former Asante Kotoko left-back was excluded from Chelsea’s squad for the 2020/21 campaign.
He was demoted to the U-23 side of the club.
However, after six months of frustration, the left-back finally earned a loan move to join PAOK in Greece where he won the Grecce Cup beating Olympiakos 2-1.
At the club, he found his feet and enjoyed regular playing time that resulted in lifting the domestic cup at the end of the season.
After a short holiday period in Ghana, Baba Rahman has travelled to England where he has now commenced pre-season training.
He will hope to impress manager Thomas Tuchel in pre-season to have chances of playing for the senior team of the Blues next season.
