Bofrof Puff Puff CEO wins food, beverage award at 40 Under Forty Achievers Awards

Ohene Kwame Frimpong, a Ghanaian business magnate is 2021 Ghana’s Favourite Entrepreneur at the 5th edition of 40 Under 40 Awards. He won the People’s Favourite Award and Best Entrepreneur in Food and Beverage.

The just ended 40 under Forty Achievers Awards took place at the plush Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra on Friday, October 8, 2021.

40 under Forty is an initiative from Xodus Communications Limited which seeks to identify, honor, and celebrate a cross-section of the nation’s most influential and accomplished young business leaders under the age of forty from a wide range of industries.

The priceless awards are a recognition of his dedication and commitment to building the food and beverage industry as well as being a highly respected company advocating for best practices in the sector.

Speaking to the media after receiving the awards, Ohene Kwame Frimpong expressed gratitude to the employees of the company for their commitment to pushing the vision and mission of the company.

Ohene Frimpong took the opportunity to call on the government to invest more into the sector to make it more attractive for the youth to venture in order to produce more and export for more foreign exchange to the country.

“Our policymakers are doing their best but we want more. We want the government to do more to encourage more young people like us to find their way into the global economy and investment sector. For this are a great way we can both earn better for ourselves, our family, and our country.”

Bofrot Puff Puff products are sold in Germany, Norway, Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Switzerland, Italy, France, England, Australia, Canada, and eleven states in the USA.

The product was officially launched by the National Chief Imam of Ghana and has Nana Ama McBrown and Kojo Nkansah as brand ambassadors.

Kub’s Original Bofrot Puff Puff was launched in May 2021 with strong demand for the products so far in Ghana. The products are currently being exported to over 15 states in the USA and 6 EU countries as well as the UK.

Mr. Ohene Kwame Frimpong has invested over $ 1.5 million in Kub’s Original Bofrot Puff Puff business up to date and is scheduled to commission an ultra-modern factory at Pokuase.
