A former Ghana international, John Paintsil has implored Milovan Rajevac, not to change the handwriting of his predecessor CK Akonnor.
The 67-year-old tactician will be in the dugout for the first following his re-appointment against Zimbabwe on today in the 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifiers.
But according to Paintsil, it could ruin the team if the Serbian tactician decides not to use the regular players of the former coach.
“If Milo decides to change the handwriting of CK, it will be a problem for him. It will be difficult to rebuild so he has to continue.
“Those players have played together for a while now – they know each other, what everyone can do and are gelling in terms of pairing players,” John Paintsil told BBC Sports Africa in an interview.
Coach Milovan Rajevac and his Ghana side will host Zimbabwe in a Group G encounter of the Africa qualifiers to the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers at the Cape Coast Stadium.
