Agate(V/R),- A non-governmental organisation (NGO), Atikpladza and Co Foundation, has donated food items to 15 widows in the Agate community of the Volta region.
The group distributed bags of rice and bottles of oil.
Mr Eric Atikpladza, Founder of the Organisation, said the donation was to put smiles on the faces of the widows.
Mr Atikpladza said they hoped to extend the gesture to more communities in the coming years.
The widows expressed gratitude to the Group for the kind support.
Madam Dzanfe Agbeli, one of the beneficiaries, said it was a surprise and was grateful for the donation.
