UPEC, Terraburiyele celebrate Anonyele Abanga

The Upper East Community of Ghana-USA and Terraburiyele under the able leadership of Mr. Sam Amoah and Mr. Gabriel Agambila respectively, with shock and sadness, announce the untimely passing of Madam Anonyele Abanga, mother of Mr. Francis Abanga, vice-president of UPEC.

She was 73 years old.

Upper East Community of Ghana-USA has membership stretching the full length and breadth of the Upper East Region residing in the United States especially within the New York metropolitan area. The goal of the organization is to unify the various ethnic groups.

Terraburiyele is an organization striving to preserve the cultural values of the Gurune speaking people of Ghana at home and abroad.

These two organizations are encouraging their members, supporters, and sympathizers to come together and provide full support to Mr. Abanga and his family to give a befitting funeral to their mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother.

In light of this, UPEC is providing logistical support to the family on a daily basis.

Terraburiyele, on the other hand, has promised to provide live musical entertainment onsite at Sanbra African Market on October 16, 2021. Exodus, the band led by Mr. Eric Bossman, will treat mourners to a musical extravaganza.

Both organizations are calling on their members and supporters to come out full force and help make the celebration of the life and afterlife of Madam Anonyele Abanga dignified and respectful.

On October 16, 2021, all roads lead to Ortiz Funeral Home – 2121 Westchester Avenue, Bronx, NY 10462 (Viewing from 4:30 – 8:00 pm) and at Sanbra African Market – 861 East Tremont Avenue, Bronx, NY 10460 (Funeral Service from 8:00 pm – 3:00 am).

Come one, come all.
