Ghana international, Thomas Partey has been applauded by BT Sport pundit, Steve Sidwell, for his impact on Arsenal.
The 27-year-old midfielder came on as a substitute on Thursday in their Europa League game against Olympiakos.
The Gunners lost the second leg of the Europa League Round of 16 tie at the Emirates Stadium, but Mikel Arteta’s side went through on aggregate.
According to him, there is a lot more to come from Arsenal midfielder, Thomas Partey.
“We have only seen glimpses of how good he can be as well,” Sidwell said.
“He has got so much more to offer, pretty similar to how Tierney started, he had that injury, needs to build his confidence up, certainly loads more to come from Partey when he gets going,” he added.
Partey had injury problems this season, and that is a big reason why the defensive midfielder has not been at his best.
Partey meanwhile will miss Ghana’s final round of the 2021 Afric Cup of Nations qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome due to travel restrictions.
