South Africa Embassy honours President Ramaphosa with Business, Cultural Show

Accra, Dec. 8, GNA– The South Africa Embassy in Ghana has honoured President Cyril Ramaphosa with a Business Networking and Cultural Show during his state visit to Ghana.

The event took place at the residence of the South African High Commissioner to Ghana, Madam Grace Jeanet Mason, in Accra and attracted top fashion designers from South Africa and Ghana.

Madam Mason highlighted the impact of South African businesses on Ghana’s economy and stated the commitment of the Commission to strengthening bilateral, economic and cultural relations between the two countries.

Three exhibitors – Lion Art Centre, Dede and Nii Marma – showcased their artworks to the admiration of the guests at the show dubbed: “Mzanzi Fashion Goes West.”

Featured designers were: David Tlale, Duaba Serwa, Sally Torpey, Atto Tetteh, Thula Sindi, Chocolate Clothing, Laduma Maxhosa and Harmony Trendz.

President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa embarked on a two-day visit to Ghana from Saturday 4th December to Sunday, 5th December, 2021.

The visit was aimed at strengthening the already existing bilateral, political and economic relations between Ghana and South Africa.

As part of the visit, President Ramaphosa together with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo joined the chiefs and people of Juaben in the Ashanti Region to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the enstoolment of Nana Otuo Serebour II as the Paramount Chief of the Juaben Traditional Area.
