The owner of Kumasi-based King Faisal, Alhaji Karim Grusah has called on Muslims to remember his relegation-threatened club in the prayers they offer during the period of Ramadan.
After playing 20 matches in the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season, King Faisal remains rooted in the relegation zone with just 19 points.
While their performances have failed to improve to the needed standard, it almost looks certain they are heading for the drop at the end of the season.
Still holding on to hope, Alhaji Grusah believes everything is possible for his King Faisal side.
He has hence made a passionate appeal to all Muslims observing the Ramadan period to offer prayers for his club.
“Members of the club should help King Faisal in prayers because we have done our best to win games but the balls are simply not entering the post.
“I am making a passionate plea to my Muslim brothers to remember King Faisal in your Ramadan prayers,” Alhaji Grusah said in an interview on GTV Sports Plus.
Occupying the 17th spot on the Ghana Premier League table, King Faisal will need to win when they play against Dreams FC next weekend to boost their chances of survival.
