Young Socio-Political Activist Emmanuel Abankwah Kesse known by many as Olumanba is urging the government to release pastors who breached covid 19 protocols if he (government) is not willing to pass a law to fight LGBT activities in Ghana.
According to Olumanba, if the government was able to pass a law to fight Covid 19 defaulters then LGBT is an abomination hence there should be a law to fight against that.
In furtherance to that, he said ‘it’s disheartening that a lot of pastors are in prison serving jail term because they breached covid 19 protocols whiles lesbians and gays are roaming about freely’
He has advised the government not to include fines as sanctions when passing legislation against LGBT because he believes a person caught in LGBT activity can get financial support from other LGBT communities abroad when fined.
‘Government shouldn’t include fines as a sanction when passing legislation against LGBT because those LGBTs get support from other LGBT communities abroad.
At least 30-35years jail term for someone caught engaging in LGBT activity will serve as a deterrent to those who are practicing it.
