Accra,– Yussif Bassigi Head coach of Sekondi Hassacas Ladies, has commended the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), for recognizing his works in the last football season.
Coach Basigi, was awarded as the Club Coach of the Year at the 46th SWAG Awards held at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) and described his award as a validation of his hard work.
Speaking to GNA Sports, Coach Basigi described the award as a validation of the tireless work he has done over the years.
“This award is to prove that commitment, passion for the game, and hard work does pay off,” he said.
He added that his team was working extremely hard to make their league title defence a success since the league had just started.
He, however, admitted that the title defense would not be an easy hurdle to cross saying “this would not be easy as every team in the league is a possible threat but we are going to try our very best. “
