Milovan Rajevac names strong squad for 2021 Africa Cup of Nation

Accra,- Milovan Rajevac Head Coach of the senior national team, the Black Stars, has named a strong squad for the upcoming 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) to be staged in Cameroon.

The Serbian tactician named his 30-man squad on Tuesday at the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Secretariat during a press conference.

His list contains five local players namely Richard Attah (Hearts of Oak), Abdul Fatawu Issahaku (Dreams FC), Philemon Baffour (Dreams FM), Maxwell Abbey Quaye (Great Olympics), and David Abanga (Real Tamale United), whilst Salis Abdul Samed, Khalid A. Mumin, completes the list.

Herein the full squad:

Goalkeepers: Joseph Wollacott (Swindon Town), Abdul M. Nurudeen (Eupen), Richard Attah (Hearts of Oak), Lawrence Ati Zigi (St. Gallen)

Midfielders: Baba Idrissu (Real Mallorca), Edmund Addo (Sheriff Tiraspol), Thomas Partey (Arsenal FC), Mubarak Wakaso (Shenzhen FC), Mohammed Kudus (Ajax Amsterdam), Daniel Kofi Kyere (FC St. Pauli), David Abanga (Real Tamale United), Salis Abdul Samed (Clermont Foot)

Wingers: Abdul F. Issahaku (Dreams FC), Samuel Owusu (Al- Fayha), Kamal D. Suleymana (Rennes FC), Dede Ayew (Al Saad SC) Joseph Paintsil (Genk)
