Asante Kotoko’s Brazilian midfielder, Fabio Dos Santos Gama has backed new club signing Michael Vinicius Silva de Morais to excel.
Having already spent more than four months in Ghana, Gama has settled in very well and is playing consistently in the starting eleven of the Porcupine Warriors.
With the club securing the services of Brazilian Michael Vinicius Silva de Morais before the end of the second transfer window, Fabio Gama has opened up on playing in the West African country.
Although he admits things are different, the midfielder believes his compatriot will receive the needed help to adapt and has noted that he is confident Vinicius will do well at Kotoko.
“I’m sure that Michael will do a good job here. I’m happy because he is of the same country with me so I’m happy with this.
“So I just wish he comes here to enjoy the life in Ghana, the pitch in Ghana and everything,” Fabio Gama said in a video posted on the Twitter page of Kotoko.
The intelligent midfielder continued, “When you come here everything is different but you have people to help you. The football is equal everywhere so I just wish him all the best.”
The duo looks set to form a Samba combination in the Asante Kotoko team when the second round of the Ghana Premier League starts next month.
