Medeama SC scored late through Ebenezer Ackahbi in added minutes of regulation time as the team held on to defeat struggling Ashanti Gold SC 1-0 at their own backyard.
With today’s tough away victory, Medeama SC are now 5th on the Ghana Premier League table and pushing to earn a spot in the top four.
For Ashanti Gold SC, the team has dropped to 14th on the league table and just two points away from the relegation zone.
