Asante Kotoko on Thursday morning held a final training session in Ghana ahead of their trip to Algeria on Friday for the reverse fixture against ES Setif in the CAF Confederations Cup.
The Ghanaian giants last weekend hosted the side from North Africa at the Accra Sports Stadium for the first of a two-legged encounter in the final play-off round to the Group stage of the continental competition.
Unfortunately, the team suffered a 2-1 defeat at the end of the 90 minutes with the visitors playing some delightful football.
Now with a tough task in the second leg, Asante Kotoko has in the last four days trained intensively in a bid to better prepare for the encounter against ES Setif.
Today, the team has trained for the last time in Ghana and will leave for Algeria in the early hours of Friday according to sources.
The crucial match between Asante Kotoko and ES Setif is scheduled to be played on Sunday, February 21, 2021, and will kick-off at 16:00GMT.
