Sensational midfielder, Gladson Awako has finally stated that he is now ready to play for his newest club Accra Hearts Of Oak.
Ever since the former Great Olympics’ Captain was signed by Hearts of Oak on 23th August ,2021, he is yet to play a single game for the Phobians.
He was reported to have left the Rainbow club just weeks after joining the club over spiritual and health issues.
Management of Hearts Of Oak issued a statement that the midfield dynamo had been excused to sort out ‘some personal difficulties.’
Speaking in an exclusive interview on Accra-based Hot 93.9FM’s ‘Focal Sports show hosted by Stonchist D’Blakk Soulja, Gladson Awako who was answering a question in line with his future with Hearts of Oak said, “I am now very ready to play for Hearts…. I’m very thankful to Original Nii Martey Laryea (I) who in these difficult times has stood with me and supported me in all endeavours, he is a very good man and may God bless him.”
He added, “Not forgetting Hon Vincent Sowah Odotei, Alhaji Akambi Braimah and Togbe Afede (xiv) my father just to mention a few.”
The 30-year-old who scored six goals and provided seven assists for Great Olympic in 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League Season then thanked the fans of Hearts of oak for their patience
“I am also very grateful to the fans of Accra Hearts Of oak for their patience with me, I am grateful,” he stated.
