Real Tamale United coach, Shaibu Ibrahim Tanko has revealed that he told his players to go all out against Asante Kotoko.

The Premier League returnees were hosted by the Porcupine Warriors at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the matchday 8 games on Wednesday.

The Northern giants held the ‘Kum Apem’ outfit to a 1-1 drawn game after 90 minutes of action.

Skipper David Abagna notched his seventh goal of the season having snatched them the equaliser on the 69th minute after Cameroonian Frank Mbella had already put the host in front.

“Like I have been saying, we have a well-composed team with young guys who are hungry for success,” Tanko said after the game.

“I told them before the game that Kotoko are just an ordinary team, they are their colleagues so they should go and meet them as such and is the reason we got that results.

“Abagna is like an idol in our team. He is playing with his colleagues’ students at UDS just like he use to even when he was at Ashgold and that’s he settled into the team quickly without suffering,” he added.
