Real Tamale United centre back, Ronald Frimpong has said Hearts of Oak were lucky to have returned to Accra with a point.

The reigning Ghana Premier League champions were hosted by the Premier League returnees at the Tamale Stadium on Sunday in the matchday 17 games.

However, after 90 minutes of action, the game ended goalless.

But Frimpong believes the Phobians were lucky to have gotten a point.

According to him, their aim was to secure all three points against Samuel Boadu’s side.

“We (RTU) wanted to take Hearts of Oak by surprise by getting all the three points but luck was on their side and they got a point away from here,” he said after the game.

Real Tamale United sit 11th on the league log with 20 points.
