A member of the Hearts of Oak technical team, W.O Tandoh has said his side is aiming to be crowned the MTN FA Cup champions and the Premier League champions this season.
The Phobians recorded an important 1-0 win over their rivals, Asante Kotoko in the matchday 31 fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Hearts of Oak are on the verge of ending their 12 years trophyless jinx under Samuel Boadu.
Daniel Afriyie Barnieh’s goal in the 66th minute settled the encounter on Sunday.
Speaking to Kumasi based Oyerepa FM, the former Aduana Stars trainer said they are determined to win the Premier League title and the MTN FA Cup to shame Togbe Afede’s detractors.
“We are winning double this season, the league and FA Cup. Asante Kotoko can never beat Hearts of Oak in my time unless I, Paul Kwaku Tandoh is not around,” he said.
“We want to do this to Shame Togbe Afede’s detractors. Those who don’t want him well at Hearts especially.
“The league and FA Cup trophy will be used in opening the Pobiman edifice. I want the supporters to turn deaf ears to the saboteurs in and around Hearts of Oak,” he added.
