Hearts of Oak on Wednesday afternoon brushed aside Hope for Future FC in a friendly encounter after recording a 5-0 win over the side.
The Ghana Premier League club today engaged the lower-tier side in a training match to give head coach Kosta Papic the chance to try out new tactics and get his players to be sharper.
In a first half where the Phobians created a lot of chances, the team scored four goals courtesy of a hat-trick from young forward Isaac Mensah and a strike from pacey winger Patrick Razak.
After the break, Hearts of Oak continued to dominate with head coach Kosta Papic making a number of changes.
With an additional goal from experienced forward Abednego Tetteh, the Phobians won 5-0 against Hope for Future FC at the end of the training match.
Coach Kosta Papic will hope that his team will take confidence from today’s exercise into their next match in the Ghana Premier League.
The team in their last three matches are winless and needs to turn things around to have a chance of challenging for the league title.
