Hearts of Oak coach Samuel Boadu confirm injuries to Richard Attah and Richmond Ayi

The head coach for Hearts of Oak, Samuel Boadu has confirmed that goalkeepers Richard Attah and Richmond Ayi are currently nursing various injuries.

The two highly-rated shot-stoppers were missing in action on Sunday evening when the Phobians hosted Aduana Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium for a clash in the Ghana Premier League.

Asked about the absence of the two goalkeepers after the match, Coach Samuel Boadu explained that they could not feature because they picked up injuries during the international break.

“They got injured when they went to camp. That’s the reason why [they were not in the team].

“They are going to be back very soon,” the Hearts of Oak head coach said after the Aduana Stars game.

In the absence of the two goalkeepers, experienced goalkeeper Ben Mensah played in post and kept a clean sheet as the Phobians cruised to a vital 2-0 win against the matchday opponent.
