Gladson Awako finally returns to Hearts of Oak training after Teshie Youth Chief intervention

Midfielder Gladson Awako has finally resumed training with Hearts of Oak after months of failing to show up.

The former Berekum Chelsea ace was reported to have told the hierarchy of the club he is not interested in playing for the club due to spiritual attacks.

Despite signing a two year deal with the reigning champions, the 30-year-old is yet to feature for the club.

However, the controversy surrounding his absence seems to have ended after the intervention of Teshie Gbugblah Oblahiaaa Mantse (Youth Chief), Original Nii Martey Laryea I, inspired him to return to change his mind and rejoin his Hearts Oak teammates.

On Tuesday morning, the U-20 World Cup winner started training with Hearts of Oak’s youth team, Auroras.

He was spotted at the training ground on Tuesday morning ahead of a big return to the senior team.

His return to the team is a huge boost for the Phobians who have had a difficult start to the Ghana Premier League campaign losing one and drawing three.

The reigning Ghana Premier League champions will play host to Algerian side JS Saoura on Sunday in the CAF Confederations Cup final playoffs.
