Great Olympics put on a resilient performance on Friday afternoon to pick a vital point from their Ghana Premier League match against Asante Kotoko in the capital.
The two top clubs have excelled this season and are in contention for the league title as the 2020/2021 campaign takes shape in the second round.
Today, Great Olympics hosted Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium to honour a fixture on matchday 20.
Billed to produce a lot of excitement, the match did not disappoint with both teams excelling in key moments in the game.
Unfortunately, neither side managed to find the back of the net, forcing the game to end in a goalless stalemate at the end of the 90 minutes.
Courtesy of the result, Asante Kotoko remains top of the Ghana Premier League table with 35 points, while Great Olympics follow in second with 34 points.
If results go against the two teams on Saturday and Sunday, they could be leapfrogged at the end of the matchday.
