Prolific striker, Kwame Peprah scored for King Faisal on Tuesday afternoon to seal a narrow 1-0 win for the side against Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League.
The team from Kumasi today played as a host to the Yellow and Mauves at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in a game that is serving as a matchday 13 encounter of the 2020/2021 league season.
Although the clash produced a lot of action, there was only one goal with Medeama SC failing to make use of the numerous chances they created.
In the first minute of added time of the second half, Kwame Peprah popped up and scored with a smart finish to hand King Faisal the advantage.
With limited time, Medeama SC could not get back into the game and have suffered a shocking defeat to the relegation-threatened side.
Courtesy of today’s win, King Faisal now has 13 points and just a point away from climbing out of the red zone.
Meanwhile, striker Kwame Peprah has taken his tally of goals this season to eight.
