Highly-rated forward, Joseph Esso starred with a brace on Sunday afternoon to steer Dreams FC to brush aside Aduana Stars with a 4-2 win in the Ghana Premier League.
The former Hearts of Oak poster boy today was named in the starting lineup of his team when they played host to the team from Dormaa at the Theatre of Dreams on matchday 14 of the league season.
On the back of an impressive start to the match, Dreams FC took the lead after just 15 minutes of the encounter when Joseph Esso scored with a good effort.
With Aduana Stars failing to match the opponent, Esso grabbed his second in the 34th minute to send his team into the break with a comfortable two-goal lead.
After recess, Aduana Stars came in strong and grabbed a consolation through an equalizer from attacker Bright Adjei.
While they hoped for a comeback, goals from Agyenim Boateng Mensah and Emmanuel Ocran handed Dreams FC a huge advantage and propelled the side to bag the maximum three points on the back of a 4-2 win at the end of the 90 minutes.
