Techiman Eleven Wonders have dropped into the relegation zone of the Ghana Premier League after losing 1-0 to West Africa Football Academy (WAFA) SC on Sunday afternoon.
The team from Techiman at the start of the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign enjoyed an impressive spell and were tipped to cause trouble for the favourites.
Unfortunately, inconsistency has been the bane of the club now in danger of suffering relegation if they do not step up.
Today, Techiman Eleven Wonders played away to WAFA SC at the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope hoping to record a win to inspire the needed turnaround.
Sadly, their efforts were not enough, and have been forced to succumb to yet another defeat.
On the matchday, youngster Abdul Bassit Issah scored for WAFA SC in the 33rd minute to power the Academy Boys to a deserved win at the end of the tough contest.
The result lifts WAFA SC to 10th on the League table while it sinks Eleven Wonders into the red zone.
