Hearts of Oak head coach, Samuel Boadu has expressed his joy at the team’s 1-0 win against Inter Allies Football Club on Sunday evening.
The Phobians after losing to the Capelli Boys in the first round of the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season hosted the side at the Accra Sports Stadium last night keen on getting victory.
Following a good performance from the side, the Rainbow club achieved their aim as they amassed all three points on the back of a narrow 1-0 win against Inter Allies.
Speaking in his post-match interview, Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu has applauded the performance of his players while indicating that he was happy with the result.
“It was a good game and l am happy our team won. The boys got the job done and that’s what matters. Our target was to revenge the first-round game and we did just that,” the gaffer told StarTimes after the game.
Up next for Hearts of Oak, the team will go up against Karela United on matchday 21.
