Ghana’s Majeed Ashimeru express gratitude to Red Bull Salzburg after sealing Anderlecht move

Ghana international, Majeed Ashimeru has extended a message of appreciation to Red Bull Salzburg after sealing a move from the Austrian outfit to sign for RSC Anderlecht.

The youngster joined the Austrian giants from Ghana Premier League side WAFA SC at the end of the 2016/2017 football season.

After four years at the club, Majeed Ashimeru has secured a permanent move to RSC Anderlecht, a club he played for last season while on a short loan spell.

In a Twitter post after wrapping up the four-year deal, the midfielder has extended gratitude to his former club for handing him the chance to make it to Europe.

“Thank you Red Bull Salzburg for the opportunity you gave me to continue with my development in Europe, I am eternally grateful,” the post on the Twitter page of the player reads.

It continues, “To the board, Technical Team, Fans, and my Teammates, I can’t thank you all enough. Know that you have a staunch supporter in Belgium, Danke!.”

Next season, Majeed Ashimeru will have a big role to play for RSC Anderlecht. The club has missed out on winning the Belgian Jupiler Pro League in successive seasons and has now set sight on enjoying triumph next season.
