Ghana forward Tariqe Fosu registers assists to help Brentford thrash Preston North End 5-0

Ghana international, Tariqe Fosu-Henry provided an assist for a goal on Saturday afternoon during the team’s 5-0 hammering of Preston North End in the English Championship.

The winger today earned a starting role to operate from the flanks when his team visited the Deepdale grounds to take on the matchday opponent.

In a game where Brentford dominated play throughout the game, goals from Bryan Mbeumo and Marcus Forss handed the side a two-goal advantage at the end of the first half.

Maintaining the momentum after recess, Brentford scored three more to cruise to a thumping win.

In the 75th minute, Tariqe Fosu Henry assisted Ivan Toney to score before goals from Sergi Canos and Emiliano Marcondes wrapped up the 5-0 win against Preston North End.

Having lasted 79 minutes, the Ghana forward bowed out with a high rating of 7.9 from statistics providers SofaScore for his top performance.

Courtesy of today’s goal contribution, Tariqe Fosu-Henry has now been directly involved in five goals [three goals and two assists] after making 32 appearances for Brentford in the English Championship.
