GBA wish Dogboe well ahead of Diaz fight

Accra,- The Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) has sent a goodwill message to former World Boxing Organization (WBO) Super Bantamweight Champion, Isaac Dogboe, ahead of his bout against American-born Puerto Rican boxer, Christopher Diaz.

The “Royal Storm” would battle it out with Christopher Diaz at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States America (USA) on November 20 as he defends his North American Boxing Federation (NABF) featherweight title.

A statement released by the GBA said: “The GBA wishes Isaac “The Royal Storm” Dogboe who is the current NABF titleholder, the very best of luck in his upcoming fight against Christopher Diaz scheduled for November 20, 2021, in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA”.

The statement added the Association had been monitoring and evaluating the young boxer’s training regime and had no doubt that he would be able to defend his title.

“The GBA has been monitoring and evaluating his training regime and has doubts in his intuitive capabilities to defend the title.

“The GBA is confident that Dogboe would successfully defend the title and continue his steady rise towards winning many more successes in the ring and to become the first contender to the WBO featherweight title ranking”.
