Fan Milk PLC supports African youth empowerment conference in Ghana

As part of its dedication to supporting the development of African youth, Fan Milk PLC played a significant sponsorship role in this year’s International Youth Diplomacy Conference (IYDC, Accra 2021) from Tuesday, July 20, 2021, to Thursday, July 23, 2021, at the University of Ghana campus in Legon, Accra.

The theme for the conference organized by IFED GLOBAL, a not-for-profit organization that aims at empowering the youth in the areas of Leadership and economic growth and development was, “Galvanizing Youth for a Sustainable development.”

Fan Milk PLC also has a great interest in developing and preparing the youth for the greater benefit and attainment of a successful and progressive future in addition to providing nutritious and healthy food supplements to the youth which help boost their physical strength, emotional wellbeing, and cognitive ability.

Conference organizers in a statement on camera thanked Fan Milk PLC for supporting their initiative with their nutritious products. According to Acheampong Tutu, the Executive President of IIFED GLOBAL, ‘this year’s conference wouldn’t have chalked this level of success without the presence and support of Fan Milk PLC as all delegates and participants were nutritionally and hygienically sustained with healthy food supplements from the beverage company. “

The Attendees of the event were nourished with the 2x CIMG’s award-winning product of the year, SuperYogo, and the newly launched NutriDay which are both specially formulated with Zinc and essential Vitamin fortifications to support the normal functioning of the immune system and also maintain a healthy mind and eyesight.

The International Youth Diplomacy Conference, IYDC is a five (5) – day conference organized annually by IFED GLOBAL in Ghana for the youth across and within Africa. The conference has over the years empowered and developed many youth on the continent and has witnessed lectures, speeches, and discussions from several great personalities within the continent as well.

In 2021, the event was attended by over three 300 youth delegates from various African countries both in-person and virtually. These countries include Ghana, Nigeria, Gambia, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, Liberia, Sierra Leone, The Gambia, Tanzania, Chad, Somaliland among others. The opening plenary held at the Law Faculty Auditorium of the University of Ghana, Legon also hosted prominent speakers such as Honorable John Ntim Fordjour, Minister for Education and MP for Assin South Constituency, Mr. Bernard Avle, Dr. Kofi Osei-Kusi, Mr. John Affaidzi Appiah, Mrs. Jackie Mpare, Mr. James Etornam Flolu, Mrs. Mavis Leonards and more others from diverse developmental fields.

These personalities imparted highly and extensively unto the youth, the various experiences, knowledge, and skills they have garnered throughout their stages of progress in life and fields of study to their present stage to have helped the youth regain the beauty of their almost shedding skins and set them upon the path of superior progress.
