Election petition: Charlotte Osei would’ve defended her work if she was EC boss – Franklin Cudjoe

The President of policy think tank, IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe says he believes Charlotte Osei would have taken the stand to defend her work if she was still the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC).

Mrs Jean Mensa has been dragged to court by former President John Dramani Mahama who is challenging the Presidential result of the 2020 general election.

In the midst of ongoing proceedings in court, it appears Jean Mensa may not be mounting the witness box to be cross examined by the legal team for the petitioner John Dramani Mahama.

The NDC legal reps insist the EC chair must be cross examined but the team for Akufo-Addo and EC argued otherwise.

Following the issues keenly, Franklin Cudjoe in a post on his Facebook page has given his opinion.

According to the IMANI Africa boss, Charlotte Osei would have taken the stand to defend her work if she was to be in the shoes of Jean Mensa.
