Dominion University holds 5th graduation ceremony

The Dominion University college has held its 5th graduation on Saturday in Accra with a charge on graduands to uphold integrity, character and workplace competence.

A total of 226 students graduated and were presented with certificates for their outstanding performance in their respective disciplines. The honors were successfully received by 123 students from the 2019 Year group and 103 students from the 2020 Year group

The president of Dominion University, Prof. Nicholas Nsowah Nuamah in his address congratulated the graduates and urged them to use the knowledge they acquired to transform their life world and make it better and better.

“What knowledgeable employers look for in you is not the mere possession of the Bachelor or Diploma degree, but how you apply the courses you persued, in fact your diligence, discipline, maturity of judgement about the clarity of your thoughts would have to be demonstrated “ he added,

He admonished them to be agents of transformation in their households, organisations, communities and nations.

He urged the graduands to be mindful of the people they associate themselves with as they may have either have positive or negative influence on their lives. Always be mindful of that popular adage that “bad association “corrupts good morals.

He charged them not to forget their backgrounds but rather, be humbled by it and let their training have a positive reflection on them and all those they associate with.

The 5th graduation was on the theme “Be The Change”.
