Coach Samuel Boadu, the head coach for Hearts of Oak has given the key first-team players a two-day break to rest following the end of the first round of the Ghana Premier League season.
After weeks of exciting games in the 2020/2021 league season, the first round last weekend finally came to an end.
On matchday 17, Hearts of Oak thrashed WAFA SC 4-0 to climb to fourth on the Ghana Premier League table.
Set to regroup and prepare for the second half of the season later this month, Coach Samuel Boadu has taken the decision to afford regular first-team players a few days’ break.
According to a post on the Twitter page of the Phobians, the likes of goalkeeper Richard Attah, defender Mohammed Alhassan, Nuru Sulley, as well as attacker Victor Aidoo and others have been given two days to rest.
Meanwhile, the other players who have had little or no role to play this season will continue to train with coach Samuel Boadu and his deputies.
